Electronic Rate Notices and Pay Rates



You can now register to receive your rates and water notices by email.

To de-register from this service or change your email address you can use the same link and select “Cancel email delivery”. To register or de-register you will need a recent rates notice to enter some security information for verification purposes and the original email address it was registered to.

Please note that the registration/de-registration process is managed by our service provider, Print Mail Logistics, and you will be directed to a secure site managed by this service provider. Registration/de-registration confirmation emails will also be from Print Mail Logistics on behalf of Livingstone Shire Council.

BPAY View® - a new option for managing your rates payments

Register for BPAY View® and receive, pay and store your rate notices in your online banking.

Livingstone Shire Council is now offering you a new, more convenient, way to manage your rate notices. BPAY View sends your rate notices straight to the same online bank you use to pay them.

With convenient email, SMS or bank message reminders* and secure online or mobile access. BPAY View makes it easy to pay on time, every time. And BPAY View is easy on the environment too.


Sign up today in 3 simple steps...

  1. Log into your online banking account.
  2. Look for the BPAY View® or View Bills section.
  3. Register to receive your Livingstone Shire Council rate notice by entering:
  • the Biller Code: 130328 for Rates or 130336 for Water;
  • your BPAY View registration number as shown in the payments option area of your rate notice; and
  • your name exactly as it appears in the first line from the address block on your rate notice;
  • you will then receive an email advising you of your registration.

Note: Paper rate notices will no longer be issued to you once you have registered with BPAY View®.

Receiving your rate notice

  • your financial institution will send you an email notification when a rate notice is issued.
  • when you log in to your internet banking, your next rate notice issued will be available for you to view and pay.
  • your electronic rate notice will look the same as the printed version.
  • you can print and save copies of your rate notice if required.

You can pay online using your credit card. MasterCard, Visa and American Express are accepted. A merchant fee of 0.75 per cent for Visa and MasterCard and 1.5 per cent for American Express will apply.

Pay online from your cheque or savings account using BPAY. Simply log on to your internet banking service, select the bill payment option and follow the instructions.

Customer Reference Number (CRN): The 7 digit assessment number (excluding the dash) printed on the front of your rates notice or letter.

You can also use BPAY to pay your rates over the phone. Call your bank and follow their instructions - quick and easy!
