The boundary setback requirements can be governed by the Planning Scheme or the Queensland Development Code, depending on the type of development:
Boundary setbacks may be associated with the zone of the land. Where a boundary setback is stated under the Planning Scheme the Planning Scheme overrides the requirements of the Queensland Development Code. Refer to either the Planning Scheme or contact the Duty Planner.
