How much is the discount on general rates?
A 10% discount is granted when full payment of all rates and charges, including any arrears and interest, is received on or before the due date. The discount does not apply to charges specifically excluded from discount entitlement such as the Rural Fire Levy, Government Emergency Levy, Separate Charges (Road Network Charge and Natural Environment Charge) and Special Levies and Charges.
