Can I pay my rates in advance?
Yes. You may pay as much and as frequently as you choose. You can make payments On Line - this facility is available for making rates and water payments by using online services: www.livingstone.qld.gov.au. You can also make payments in advance in person at any of Council’s Customer Service Centres. You can make an application for scheduled Direct Debits to your rates or water account by going to Council's online services also. Options include: weekly, monthly or fortnightly Direct Debits (performed on Tuesdays), or customers may use BPay to set up regular internet banking transfers. These payments will then be credited to your rates assessment.
