Mayor Adam Belot Update on Normanby Street Upgrades
Stage Two of the Normanby Street Reconstruction Project is now underway (March 2025 – March 2026)!
This phase focuses on essential underground upgrades, including 6700m of electrical conduits in 2300m of trenching, 900m of new water mains and service lines, Ssormwater upgrades at Arthur Street.
Work is ramping up in the coming weeks (weather permitting), with efforts made to minimise disruptions and maintain access for businesses, residents, and pedestrians.
This $7.8M project, a joint initiative between Council and the Queensland Government, will enhance safety, connectivity, and infrastructure in Yeppoon CBD.
