In Livingstone Shire we are proud to host a number of wonderful public events each year. As one of the newest communities under Boomerang Alliance’s Plastic Free Places we encourage everyone looking to hold an event in the region to consider how you can manage waste and recyclables at your event. The community is welcome to use halls, venues and parks for special gatherings such as wedding ceremonies, parties and events. Some of these uses will require approval and relevant permits. Appropriate fees/charges will also be applied. Please be reminded that consumption of alcohol in a public park is not permitted under State Government legislation. All venue and event bookings can be made via our Online Service Centre.
