Council is seeking an experienced and trade qualified Mechanic to join our Fleet Services team.
This position supports Council’s direction by undertaking repairs and maintenance on a wide variety of Council vehicles, plant and machinery in a professional manner both individually and as part of a multi-disciplined team.

- Skills, Experience and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Recognised trade qualifications as a Motor Mechanic/Heavy Vehicle Mechanic; and
- Possess and maintain a current “HR” Class motor vehicle driver’s licence.

- Salary – $72,343 per annum (QLGIA (Stream C) Level C8);
- $5,000 attraction payment upon successful completion of probationary period;
- 9-day fortnight;
