Livingstone Shire Council Installs Donated Seats on Marine Parade, Courtesy of Mr Frank Green

Livingstone Shire Council has installed several seats along Marine Parade, generously built and donated by Mr Frank Green from Emu Park, for the community to enjoy.
The seats were donated to Livingstone Shire Council and have been permanently erected, providing a comfortable and picturesque resting spot for residents and visitors alike. The decision to install these seats permanently came after Mr Green had attempted to place them in inappropriate locations.
Recognising his passion for the community and value and significance of his contribution, Council collaborated with Mr Green to identify the most suitable area for the seats. Council’s Facilities team have installed the seats in these locations, ensuring they seamlessly blend with the existing surroundings while providing optimal convenience and comfort to the community.
Livingstone Shire Council Mayor Andy Ireland expressed his gratitude for Mr Green's generous donation and emphasized the positive impact it will have on the community.
"The installation of these seats is a testament to the strong sense of community spirit that thrives within Livingstone Shire," Mayor Ireland said
"Marine Parade is a beloved spot for locals and tourists, and these seats will undoubtedly enhance the experience for all who visit. We encourage residents and visitors to take a moment to relax and enjoy the breathtaking views”.
The seats have been carefully positioned to ensure ease of access and provide a serene spot for individuals to enjoy the natural beauty of the area.
