CQ AGTECH Showcase - Central Qld Agricultural Innovation Tour
The CQ AgTech Showcase is a sideline event supporting evokeAG 2025 in Brisbane on 18-19 February 2025, at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre.
The best of central Queensland’s agricultural innovation will be on display during this new agtech tour of the region in February 2025.
The CQ AgTech Showcase is a carefully curated road trip that will begin in the agricultural hub of Emerald, make its way to the Beef Capital of Rockhampton and beyond to the Capricorn Coast at Yeppoon, highlighting the region’s agricultural innovations and technology.
From 14 to 16 February, up to 50 participants will have the opportunity to visit start-ups and producer adoption sites, take part in masterclasses and taste local foods with regional produce and Indigenous food themed meals.
WHEN? Friday 14 February from 12pm (starting in Emerald) - Sunday 16 February until 1pm 2025 (finishing in Rockhampton)
WHO? The event is a mix of local and international delegates from across the innovation ecosystem including research and academia, start-up founders, regional innovators, primary producers, investors, industry and government
COST? Tickets are $599 per person excl GST. This price includes all meals, accommodation, transport* and all tour event activities.

- Investor Masterclass with Natasha Teakle and Matthew McFarlane
- Marathon Wagyu experience at “Codenwarra”
- Rookwood Weir, Rural Funds Management (macadamias) and Mort & Co (feedlotting circular economy) developments
- Live SkyKelpie drone mustering demonstration
- Institute for Future Farming Systems at CQUniversity: various innovation project including livestock innovation, indigenous plant medicines, featuring Ghungalu elder, Uncle Steve Kemp and innovative sesame crops.
