Sing for Capricorn

We are people from the community who love to sing. There is no audition, no need to read music. Our emphasis is on fun and enjoyment of the music and each other while seeking to develop an understanding of the music and add skill in our delivery.

History:
We are a community access choir that began life in March 2015 just after cyclone Marcia. Beginning with 4 members we have grown under the encouragement and musical direction of Jakki King to over 65 people, as the Capricorn Gospel Choir. We have performed at Carols by the Beach, Festival of the Wind, Village Festival, nursing homes and most notably flashmob with Santa at Keppel Plaza (3 times so far).
