Local Government Elections
The Electoral Commission Queensland (ECQ) is responsible for conducting local government elections across Queensland.
Elections for Council of the Livingstone Shire Council will be held on 16 March 2024.
Livingstone Shire Council councillors are elected for a four-year term. The elected members consist of Mayor and six (6) councillors. Livingstone Shire Council is an undivided council, which means it does not have any internal boundaries (such as divisions or wards).

Councillors are elected to govern the Council for the benefit of the local community. By becoming a councillor, or even just running for election, you can make a positive difference to your local community.
