Council endorses all seven Community Voice Panels

Back

Council’s seven Community Voice Panels were established and adopted at Tuesday’s Ordinary Council Meeting, after a fantastic response from a number of passionate community members.

The introduction of the Community Voice Panels will enable Council to capture ideas and topics with input from a broad cross-section of residents, after expressions of interest were sought from all members of the Shire earlier this year.

The seven panels are aimed at offering the community the opportunity to help shape Council policies, programmes and services and include people working in industries including the environment, the business sector and tourism.

Following the endorsement of each panel, it is expected that each group will hold their first meeting during the month of November 2020.
