Skate parks and playgrounds added to list of public facilities to close in Livingstone

As announced by the Australian Government on Sunday as part of the response to COVID-19, Council wishes to advise the community that all public playgrounds and skate parks in the shire are closed as of today.

This also includes the Keppel Kraken wet play area on the Yeppoon foreshore.

These closures will be in place until further notice.

Council encourages the community to stay up to date with the latest information on COVID-19 by visiting https://www.health.qld.gov.au/

Skate parks closed include Emu Park, Yeppoon and The Caves.

Council is continuing to monitor Government advice and will update the community when necessary.
