Resident Reach pop-up visits coming to localities across Livingstone this month!

Back

As part of Council’s ongoing commitment to engaging with and understanding the diverse needs of residents across each different locality within our community, a series of pop-up Resident Reach visits will take place this month.

Mayor Andy Ireland said the dedicated ‘Resident Reach’ pages for each cluster locality on Council’s online engagement platform Get Involved are designed to enhance engagement and streamline information-sharing between Council and residents.

“Council’s Engagement team will be hosting pop-up engagement sessions in person at each cluster locality throughout March to provide residents with more information on how to maximise their participation of the Resident Reach program,” Mayor Ireland said.

“These pop-up visits provide a great opportunity to inform residents on the importance of the platform, and how they can share their views and suggestions with Council anywhere, anytime, when interacting with the webpage.

“The sessions will provide residents with an overview of their locality's designated Resident Reach webpage, how it works, how to register and how to get the most out of the important online tool.

“Council values the importance of engaging with residents and hearing their ideas, stories or concerns they may have about particular issues in their locality.”

These pages are also updated with news that is related to each locality, or if you’ve got an idea to improve our Shire or have a great local story – share them with us!

Residents can find out more information and identify which cluster locality they belong to by visiting www.getinvolved.livingstone.qld.gov.au/resident-reach
