The Over the Fence Film Festival is back and is sure to entertain

The Over the Fence Film Festival is back and will celebrate 16 short films in a two hour fest.

This year, the filmmakers’ gaze turned delightfully inwards with a series of quirky conundrums.

Their intimate journeys explore their experiences with the pandemic, lock-down, isolation, hording toilet paper, and life and crimes.

Councillor Rhodes Watson, Portfolio Holder of Vibrant Community (Tourism, Arts Culture), said he is pleased to welcome back the event, which has had huge success in the past.

“Livingstone Shire is very supportive of the arts and we’re dedicated to championing independent and new filmmakers,” he said.

“I’m sure the films will bring laughter, thought, and joy, and the audience will be delightfully entertained.”

Doors open at the Yeppoon Town Hall on Saturday, 19 June at 6pm.
