Help Council map its Blueprint for Growth for Livingstone
What do you believe is needed to support the growth of local businesses and attract new investment to Livingstone Shire?
Residents are being urged to have their say as Council develops a ‘Blueprint for Growth’.
Mayor Andy Ireland said Council has commissioned SC Lennon & Associates to provide strategic economic planning services to promote economic growth and identify investment opportunities in the shire.
“We want to know what kind of economic future Livingstone Shire should be aspiring to, the key challenges that need to be addressed, and the region’s opportunities and priority projects for economic development,” Mayor Ireland said.
“Based on this, we’re asking the community to complete a short survey to help Council develop its Blueprint for Growth.
“Council is expecting to receive the draft blueprint for review in late May and once adopted, it will be published for everyone to read.”
Consultation is now open and closes on 11 May.
