Council receives revised plans for Emu Park development
The applicant for a new unit and commercial complex in Emu Park has submitted reduced-scale plans for the development.
Elnabor Pty Ltd’s original application lodged in October 2021 was for a seven-storey building comprising 49 units and shops on the corner of Pattison and Granville Streets.
The revised plans:
- Reduce the building from seven storeys to six;
- Reduce the number of units from 49 to 42;
- Alter the roofline to segment the building form to create additional articulation; and
- Alter the balconies to vary the appearance of the building.
Livingstone Shire Council CEO, Cale Dendle said the development application is due for decision later this month.
“This application is scheduled to be presented to Council’s Ordinary meeting on May 17.
“Like all development applications, assessment is based on the relative merits of the proposal’s conformance to the planning scheme, particularly those elements that apply to local centres in coastal locations.” Mr Dendle said.
The application, including the amended plans, is publicly available on Council’s website via the online service page.
