Enjoy your 'Winter on the Capricorn Coast' with Council's latest holiday program

The program, running during the school holidays from 24 June-10 July, features plenty of sport, creative and educational activities designed to get the kids off the couch and out into the community to have some fun.

Councillor Rhodes Watson, portfolio holder of Vibrant Community (Tourism, Arts, Culture), encouraged families to start planning now.

“Winter on the Capricorn Coast is jam-packed with low-cost and no-cost activities to keep everyone entertained,” Cr Watson said.

“From skateboard clinics, cupcake decorating, live music and markets on the Yeppoon foreshore, there’s something for everyone to enjoy over the school holiday break.

“The program is very popular because of its diversity and books out quickly, so I’d encourage everyone to have a look at the calendar and register their spot to avoid missing out.”
