Open heart surgery inspires latest art exhibition at Fig Tree Galleries

Gwyneth.Terri.Lewis said her exhibition came together while she was waiting to have the surgery.
“This exhibition documents my artistic journey throughout this experience,” she said.
“Each abstract artwork represents a time capsule of the impact my surgery had on my life and artwork.
“While each artwork has its own story, the body of work elicits an emotional response to my feelings and thoughts about before, during and after my surgery.
“I’m excited to share my artwork with the community and encourage everyone to come along and view my exhibition at Fig Tree Galleries throughout the month of July.”
The exhibition will run from Saturday 2 July to Sunday 24 July, with the opening night to be celebrated from 5:30pm tonight.
