Wind in the Willows reimagined for 21st century audiences

Join Mr Toad, Ratty, Moley and Badger in a cleverly reimagined production of the family favourite, The Wind in the Willows, at Yeppoon Town Hall this school holidays.

The whole family will be amazed by the original music, exciting antics and playful characters in this live show created by RAVA Productions for 21st century audiences.

Focusing on themes of friendship and understanding consequences, this delightful story features four professional performers all hailing from Queensland.

The multi-talented cast includes Harrison Paroz (Toad), Angela Ponting (Moley), Micheal Escober (Badger) and Jacob Watton (Ratty) to deliver this heart-warming story perfect for family audiences.

Councillor Rhodes Watson, Portfolio Holder of Vibrant Community, said Council is excited to
bring this modern take of a classic childhood tale to our community.

“This performance sees the loveable characters navigate adventures and escapades on stage, whilst delivering young audiences inspiring messages such as ‘it’s friends that matter most when the going gets tough’,” said Cr Watson.

“Attendees will revel in this original stage show that bursts with imagination, excitement, and whimsical, fun-loving characters.”

RAVA Productions’ The Wind in the Willows is directed by Alison Vallette and produced by Ruth Atkinson.

The multi-talented cast are also offering a workshop in the areas of drama, music and dance suited for primary school students in years one to three.
