Activate your next arts and culture project with RADF Funding

Back

Music events, vocal workshops, commissions for mural artwork, development sessions, and a Songwriters Retreat are just some of the ways that the Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF) has helped our local artists kick-start their projects.

This amazing opportunity is being offered to local residents once again, with Round One of the RADF 2022 Funding now open.

RADF is delivered in partnership with the Queensland Government, through Arts Queensland and Livingstone Shire Council, and helps promote the value of arts, culture, and heritage within local communities.

This initiative is designed to help local artists and art practitioners bring their visions to life and share them with the wider community, by providing the opportunity to deliver diverse and inclusive experiences.

Councillor Rhodes Watson, Portfolio Holder of Vibrant Community (Tourism, Events and Culture), said the joint initiative encourages creators to use their imaginations, ideas, and skills to produce visual, auditory, or performative pieces.

“The arts are a key component of building a strong community fabric, it connects people in many ways - a community full of art is a community full of culture,” said Cr Watson.

“I strongly encourage the talented and creative artists of Livingstone Shire to consider applying for the funding online.
