Livingstone Shire Council is proud to invite both current and prospective suppliers to join Council’s Procurement team for a Supplier Business Breakfast on Monday, 20 November at Yeppoon Town Hall.

This event is designed to strengthen the bond between the Council and our local business community, with a shared goal of contributing to the region's growth and prosperity.

During the Supplier Business Breakfast, participants will have the opportunity to gain valuable insights into the inner workings of Livingstone Shire Council's procurement process.

Councillor Adam Belot, Portfolio holder of Organisational Performance, said understanding the intricate rules and regulations governing supplier relationships is crucial, and this event will provide a platform to do just that.

“The session will provide all the information needed to unlock the potential for doing business with Council,” Cr Belot said.

“Additionally, attendees can look forward to broadening their professional network by connecting with fellow local businesses.

“Establishing these relationships can open doors to potential opportunities, particularly in the scope of the Council's forward works projects.”

The event is thoughtfully tailored to appeal to a diverse audience, including local business owners and managers, procurement and supply chain professionals, and anyone with an interest in engaging with Livingstone Shire Council for business purposes.

“I encourage all interested parties not to miss this opportunity to gain a better understanding of how collaboration with the Council can benefit your business and contribute to the growth of the local business community,” Cr Belot said.
