Livingstone Shire Council is excited to announce the launch of the eNotices Registration Competition, urging ratepayers to embrace the convenience of digital correspondence.

Registering for eNotices before the clock strikes midnight on 17 January 2024, opens the door to winning one of two $500 Mastercard Gift Cards.

The eNotices system offers a streamlined process for receiving important notices such as general rates, water rates, and animal renewals, directly into the ratepayers' nominated email inboxes.

Mayor Andy Ireland expressed enthusiasm for the initiative, highlighting the benefits for both ratepayers and Council.

"Embracing eNotices presents a win-win scenario," Mayor Ireland explained.

"It's about convenience and practicality. By switching to electronic notices, our community gains faster access to essential information right in their email inbox, saving time and aiding more effective bill tracking and management.

“Moreover, with the increased cost of postage and longer delivery times, our eNotice service provides a more reliable alternative to paper copies while significantly reducing Council’s reliance on paper, postage, and associated costs."

Councillor Adam Belot, Portfolio holder of Organisational Performance, emphasised the cost-effectiveness and environmental significance of eNotices.

“As a Council, we are focussed on providing the best level of service for our customers,” Cr Belot said.

“Registering for eNotices goes beyond mere convenience for our residents and businesses; it offers a chance to actively participate in shaping a more cost-effective and eco-conscious future for our Shire.

"The more ratepayers who join, the greater the efficiency gains, leading to reduced costs that directly benefit our entire community.
