This unparalleled event provided by Virtual World promises fun for all ages, 4 and up, and is set to redefine entertainment as we know it.

The virtual reality (VR) experience is a cutting-edge technological journey that immerses individuals in a simulated environment, creating a sense of presence and interaction within a computer-generated world.

Using specialized VR headsets and often accompanied by motion-sensing controllers, participants are transported to a three-dimensional space that can replicate real-world settings or offer fantastical, otherworldly landscapes.

Portfolio Holder of Vibrant Community, Councillor Rhodes Watson shares his excitement about the upcoming virtual reality extravaganza at Yeppoon Town Hall.

"As a community, we are thrilled to bring this cutting-edge virtual reality experience to Yeppoon Town Hall,” Councillor Watson said.

“Through the HeroZone Free Roam Arena and Draw Alive, individuals of all ages will be transported into realms of adventure and creativity like never before. The HeroZone Free Roam Arena promises an exhilarating journey, allowing participants to fight zombies, engage in fantasy archery battles, and more – all in a world beyond the ordinary.

“Draw Alive, on the other hand, invites budding artists to witness their creations come to life in a magical, interactive drawing experience. It's an opportunity for families and friends to bond, laugh, and create lasting memories together.

“I encourage everyone to seize the chance to explore the extraordinary during this free and accessible event. The Livingstone Shire Council is committed to fostering innovation, entertainment, and community connections, and this virtual reality experience exemplifies our dedication to delivering unique and inclusive experiences for the whole community.”

  • Cook’d UP: A family-friendly team-building game. Enter a virtual kitchen where you and your fellow chefs face the challenge of tons of hungry customers, Assign tasks, work together, and flip as many burgers as you physically can. As you and your chef’s progress, the recipes will get more complicated, and intensive teamwork is required to keep the customers satisfied.
  • Quantum Arena: A fast paced futuristic shooter. Challenge your friends in an intense futuristic tournament. Team-up or fight in a free-for-all battle for the highest score. Beware as players are not the only danger to look out for.
  • Dead Ahead: Do you have what it takes to survive the apocalypse? The apocalypse is here! You and your friends make a last stand to defend against the undead. You get 30 seconds to prepare your defences & pick your weapons before the zombie’s attack. Each wave the zombies become faster, and the pressure builds up.
