Livingstone Shire Council CEO, Cale Dendle has today accepted appointment as CEO at Isaac Regional Council and will finish up at the Lagoon Place offices following adoption of Livingstone’s 2024/25 Budget next month.
Mayor Adam Belot thanked Mr Dendle for his contribution to the organisation over the past three and a half years.
“Cale came to us following a period of disruption internally and also part-way through the COVID pandemic.
“His extensive local government experience and sure and steady hand was what we needed at that time,” Mayor Belot said.
Mr Dendle thanked the Mayor and councillors for the opportunity to lead the organisation.
“Livingstone Shire has a bright future and I’m pleased to have played some small part in its development in recent times.
“Nearly all of my immediate family lives on the Capricorn Coast so I have a vested interest in seeing the shire continue to succeed even after I’m gone,” he said.
Mayor Belot said announcement regarding appointment of an Acting CEO will be made in the coming weeks.
