Appointment of Acting CEO for Livingstone Shire Council

Council is pleased to announce the appointment of Alastair Dawson as Acting Chief Executive Officer. The decision was resolved yesterday by the Council, marking a significant step forward in ensuring continued excellence in leadership and service to the community.

Mr. Dawson brings a wealth of experience from both the private and public sectors. His distinguished career includes notable roles such as CEO at Rockhampton Regional Council and Deputy Vice Chancellor at Central Queensland University. His extensive professional background and proven leadership skills make him an excellent choice for this vital role.

Livingstone Shire Council Mayor Adam Belot expressed his confidence in Mr. Dawson’s capabilities.
