Livingstone Shire Council Pays Tribute to Mr Brian Dorey OAM

Livingstone Shire Council is deeply saddened by the passing of Mr Brian Dorey OAM.

Brian was an extraordinary individual whose contributions to our community were immeasurable. His tireless work and unwavering commitment to the people and history of Yeppoon and the wider Livingstone Shire will forever be remembered.

He dedicated over three decades of service as a Councillor for Livingstone Shire Council and was a respected leader in the Yeppoon Lions Club and the Yeppoon and District Historical Society, where his efforts touched the lives of many.

Brian’s passion for life and his deep connection to Livingstone Shire have left an indelible mark on our community. He will be sorely missed, but his spirit will continue inspiring all fortunate enough to know him.

On behalf of Livingstone Shire Council and the entire community, we extend our heartfelt condolences to Mr Dorey’s wife, Olive, his family, and friends during this difficult time.
