Hop into the Easter Magic with Livingstone Shire Council’s Easter on the Capricorn Coast 2025!
Council is once again offering an impressive school holiday program packed with adventure, creativity, and chocolatey fun!
Families across the region are invited to explore an exciting line-up of activities that promise to keep young minds engaged, entertained, and inspired.
Councillor Andrea Friend said Council’s school holiday programs have been a resounding success in recent years, providing a diverse range of workshops and activities for children of all ages.
“These programs continue to be a highlight for our community, providing wonderful opportunities for kids to learn, play, and create lifelong memories,” Cr Friend said.
“A huge thank you to the amazing organisations, individuals, and businesses who help make these events a reality for local youth each holiday season.
“From scavenger hunts, a movie at the park, an Easter Wonderland event, to a week-long workshop with the Yeppoon Choral Society learning the art of performing, and even a valuable training courses for young people – there is plenty on offer as part of this year’s program.
“Spots fill up fast for most activities and events that require registration, so we encourage everyone to jump online when bookings open on Wednesday, 26 March from 8pm to secure your place.”

Easter Wonderland – A Whimsical Adventure!
Step into a storybook world where Alice, the White Rabbit, and the Easter Bunny await!
Kids will love the enchanting egg hunts (10am and 12pm), teacup decorating, pin the tail on the White Rabbit, fun games, face painting, and balloon twisting.
Animal lovers can cuddle furry friends and even bottle-feed baby animals at the petting zoo (9am and 12:30pm).

Finding Nemo Musical – A Splash of Theatre Fun!
Budding performers aged 7-18 can dive into the magic of musical theatre with a week-long workshop led by the Yeppoon Choral Society. Participants will learn dance, acting, and singing, culminating in two spectacular live performances!

As part of Youth Week 2025, Council is fully subsidising valuable training courses for young people (15-25 years) to help them gain essential job skills.
